A food allergy that you get by eating something foul is very common and very much possible at least once in a life. If one food is good for other person does not necessarily means it’s good for you. The only way to avoid an allergic reaction is to completely avoid the particular food that your body is not comfortable with. Following are the type of food allergies that are most common all over the world.
1. Milk and Casein Allergy
Very common and it does not require much time for one to realize that he or she has a milk allergy. If you think milk or a slice of pizza is causing swollen lips, hives or headaches, you may have an allergy to casein. Casein is also a milk protein and many people are allergic to it. Not only milk but all the products that contain milk ingredients should be avoided to prevent from a reaction. This allergic reaction can cause wheezing, vomiting and hives.
2. Wheat Allergy
It’s not the wheat fiber that can build allergic reaction but the protein itself in wheat. One allergic to a wheat protein can suffer from upset stomach, eczema, rhinitis, asthma and even anaphylaxis (hypertensive body) and it should be avoided at all cost. You may ask advice from your doctor for the substitute of wheat.
3. Soy Allergy
Soybeans are legumes (the type of pulses) that contain the high amount of plant protein. But not everyone is comfortable with plant proteins, so if you are allergic to soybeans, with your doctor advice it is a good idea to be careful and avoid kidney beans, black beans, chickpeas, lentils, and peanuts.
4. Nut/Peanut Allergy
One suffering from a nut allergy should avoid nuts, especially peanuts and tree nuts like cashews and walnuts, and not consuming these foods is the only way to prevent an allergic reaction.
5. Fish Allergy
There is a high chance if you are allergic to fish; you have very few options of sea food left to eat. It is a wise idea to avoid fish at all cost otherwise, it can lead to some chronic problems.
